How to Get a Girlfriend – Bachelor Pad Tips

So you’ve been out with a girl a couple times and you think you’re starting to like her, and perhaps even consider her girlfriend material.  Before you jump too far ahead of yourself your bachelor pad needs to be up to par if you want any chance of keeping her around.

There are a few specific things you must focus on before you bring a girl back to your place:

A Clean Bathroom and Bedroom

This is extremely important.  If you have a woman over and you haven’t cleaned your bathroom in a month – say goodbye.  Make sure you have fresh towels and toilet paper.  Also remember to clean the sink and the tub.  As much as you don’t care about your drain half clogged with hair, she will, so make sure to clean the bathroom if you expecting company.

As for your bedroom, clean it.  It’s not difficult, pick your clothing up off the floor and put it in the hamper.  Enough said.

Something to Drink, both Alcoholic and Non Alcoholic

Not everybody drinks, strange – I know, so have something that’s non alcoholic ready in the fridge for company.  Tea and coffee are also good to have.

As for alcohol, you don’t have to have an entire bars liquor selection, just a couple standard bottles and some beer.  A vodka, rum, and bottle of gin are good for starters, have a couple beer in the fridge and some pop/ mix as well and you’re good to go.

Have something Entertaining to do

What are you guys going to do while your at your place?  

Have a couple of your favorite movies ready to go if you’re so inclined. Perhaps you went on a 6 month adventure in the Amazon and you have a whole bunch of really cool pictures.  Keep that lying around where she will find it.  Your place should be interesting and fun, and should really show her what kind of person you are.

Learn to Cook

No you don’t have to go to culinary school, just learn how to make a couple dishes that are easy and taste great.  Check out some recipes online if you don’t know anything about food or cooking.  No, Mac and Cheese doesn’t count (unless it’s homemade), so come up with a dish or two that will impress.  If you enjoy cooking, get her to come help you.  Make her chop potatoes or dice veggies.  Enjoy what you’re doing and she will enjoy it with you.

Those are just a few things to keep in mind in order to keep the girl around, and not have her running in the opposite direction.
